Its been awhile...

Its been what seems like a year since I last posted. So some may be wondering, well what happened to the game. I don't plan to continue game dev. Why? Its something I like to fiddle with, but isn't something I enjoy doing long term. So although many people didn't keep up or view my content thank you to everyone who did. I may post on this blog once in awhile, but don't count on it. Also if I do it won't be on game content.

EDIT: Wow its been over 2 years since a post. I know I didn't post, but I didn't know it was this long ago!!!!

No Walking Animation Upload

Sorry to inform everyone but today I will be unable to upload a picture of my character's walking animation, it should be out tomorrow as I just need to clean it up.

Dirt Tiles

Hello everybody, yesterday I finished the dirt tiles and it's variants. Constructive criticism is highly appreciated!

P.S. I also almost have my character's walk animation complete, I plan to upload it tomorrow.

Lack of Posts

Once again I have stopped posting for awhile. This is because I simply haven't had much to talk about. The game is still being developed and very little work is done, also I haven't been working on the game for awhile. All of you will still be getting a lack of post because of the lack of work. I have, however returned to rectangular collision since I want to use tiles and do not want to work with the hassle of getting the linear collision implemented.

Linear Collision

Hello everybody I would just like to inform you that I have decided to change the collision system. Instead of rectangular collision I have decided to use linear collision. This will allow me to do slopes and make the levels look nicer. There is planned to be destructible terrain, and the game will use tiles for display purposes.
